Project information: Construction of the access tunnels on the North- and South side of the new Donaubrücke in Linz. (bridge over Danube River in Linz - Austria)
One single formwork carriage adaptable to all situations. Simplified and hydraulic assisted section transformations.
Total length of the job 1600m (South = 1000m / North = 600m). Total number of pouring steps 170 (South = 94 / North = 84). Previewed total duration - 20 month including transformations and change from South to North.
5 different sections --> wings = constant radius 5,35m; vault = radius S2R 5,35m / S2G 5,35m + 0,5m flat / S2A 7,75m / S3 7,75m + 1,10m flat / S3A 11,25m, curves (radii 50m minimum), no ready ground (rolling on excavated ground) - use of caterpillar tracks, hydraulic assisted section transformation (possible inside tunnel with reduced elevation equipment), self-reactive structure with no need for anchoring, retractable corbel panel for execution of some sections with intermediate slab.
