Tideway West - Secondary Lining Completion

A great milestone was achieved last week.

The Secondary Lining team working on the 7km west section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel have completed the main tunnel A works that run from the Acton Storm Tanks site in West London to the Carnwath Road Riverside in South West London.

This is the final step of an amazing journey for Kern working on the west section of London’s new ‘super sewer’.

Hammermith, Frogmore, Barn Elms and main tunnel B connection tunnels have been also part of this fantastic project.
Many innovations and developments have been introduced in the systems which will be used in the future.
