Gotthard Nord - Project Update

As part of the Gotthard project, the client ARGE Secondo Tubo (Implenia AG – Frutiger AG) is setting a strong example for innovation and forward-thinking construction. By adopting the K‑One technology, the project marks a significant step towards automation and the continuous improvement of working and safety conditions.

To date, over 5,000 m³ of concrete have been successfully placed. A key highlight is the demanding composition of the material. The concrete is produced directly from excavated rock and consists entirely of crushed aggregates. Due to their high abrasiveness, these materials present considerable challenges in processing and require advanced conveying and pumping solutions.

This project clearly demonstrates how innovative technologies and the willingness to embrace new approaches can set new benchmarks in tunnelling. We would like to thank the client for their trust.
